Three Angry Nerds 
Aliens is probably the best horror sequels to ever been made. Compared to Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 or A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors it may reign is as an actual stand alone continuation. You can watch it without having any clue of its parent film.
The best thing about this movie is how it ups the game. Viewers going in are already fully aware of the ferocity and scares the xenomorph gives, so Cameron pushes the fear to a higher level. There’s not just one but an entire pod and there is one badass bitch queen! Truly epic.
